Why Our Pad?

There are hundreds of pads on the shelf. Here's why we spent months asking 200+ women what bothers them, and then built a pad, one layer at a time, to fix exactly that.
Walk into any chemist and you'll find a wall of pads promising to be thinner, longer and drier. So why did we make another one? We didn't start with a product. We started with a question: what would make her day a little easier?
It started with 200+ women
Before we designed anything, we spoke to more than 200 women: students, working professionals, mothers and first-timers. We asked what really bothers them on their period and wrote every answer down. The same complaints kept coming up: pads that shift when you move, leaks from the sides, rashes on heavy days, and a top layer that feels damp hours later.
We are not here to sell pads. We are here to make periods feel easier.
Biology meets engineering
We took those notes to biomedical engineers and solved each micro-discomfort one layer at a time. The result is a 290 mm, 4-wing pad with seven engineered layers, each with its own job:
- A 100% virgin cotton top layer that stays fresh and dry, and lets clots pass through easily.
- 200+ perforations that pull flow down and away from your skin.
- A side leak lock that stops flow from escaping at the edges.
- Two upper and two lower wings, plus a strong adhesive, so the pad stays put when you move.
- A breathable back layer and a soft, cloth-like outer cover for all-day comfort.
Kind to sensitive skin
Our pads are IS 5405 certified, with no fragrance, no sulphates and no bleach. We added a soft top layer on the wings too, because that's where friction, and most rashes, begin.
Co-created, not guessed
Every detail of our first product, the Moody Box, traces back to something a real woman told us. It's designed by women, manufactured by women and made for women. That's the difference: we didn't guess what you needed. We asked.
